things are great. i mean...i can't complain. life is the best it has been in a very, very long while. I have a couple minutes as I am cooking dinner (linguine and a home made pasta sauce--if you must know!!!!) and I figured that I would will fill y'all in. I am all moved in to my new apartment and I live in Warner Robins, GA (who woulda ever guessed that one???). I mean it's not an ideal situation living two hours away from the man I am about to marry, but it's better than Canada to Georgia...right? :D I love my apartment and the freedom that comes with it! I still need to get a couch, but I'm going to wait on that one! It's so weird living on my own. The only thing sucky about where I'm living is that it is a bit older of a community and there really aren't many people my age. I've always had people close to me and here...I literally know no one! It's kinda better because I'm working long hours and it really lets me focus on my career.
I started work and I was a bit unsure at first, but I think that I am really going to love it there. The work itself is going to be a little demanding on me, but whatever doesn't break you--only makes you stronger. I guess I should probably let y'all know what I am doing ;) I am working at a hospice as the Bereavement Coordinator and as a Medical Social Worker. I know it doesn't sound all that amazing, but it really is. Working with families who really need guidance and being there for them in a time of need--I couldn't think of anything else I would rather do.
All of that...and I get to see my babes on the weekends.
I'm thinking life is pretty darn good!
Oh yeah and I'm marrying my guy in...oh....18 DAYS!!!!!
